I know what you mean,
but I don't understand.
I know what you're saying,
but I can't comprehend.
You said forever, I said it too.
It seems our endeavor, has not made it through,
the tears and the fighting, the distance and pain.
I know what you're getting at, but the words just aren't sane.
Your lips are lying, your eyes are too.
My heart is breaking, because I know what you're saying,
is true...
